Hello! My name is Gina Shergold Welcome to my Vintage Home

About Me I'm in love with vibrant colours and patterns, and completely obsessed by anything vintage, retro or shabby. Sadly, I will never have the chance of growing up in the swinging sixties so instead I recreate the era through my arts and crafts. I have always loved art and you will find me constantly doodling, drawing up ideas and scratching out designs on any surface I can claim in my day job. I lose myself when painting and can spend hours on a project without even realising. Photography gets me outdoors and allows me to capture and share moments from my own perspective. It wasn't until last Christmas, when I was bought a sewing machine I found I was actually pretty nifty at it! It's a lot of fun using it in an unconventional fashion and 'drawing' pictures with stitch. I craft away in a bright and sunny spare room at home where I tend to be either buried in fabric or covered in paint. I am inspired by everything around me, both new and old. I have a great passion for what I make and I hope others will too.
